# The ROI of Space Utilization Data For The Hybrid Workplace

## James Wu talks about how data is the key to approach a successful hybrid workplace

In a world where change is constant, adaptability has become the key to success.

James Wu, CEO, and Co-Founder of InnerSpace, believes that a sensor-free approach to collecting data allows organizations to be agile in adapting to new ways to optimize their office spaces, making them more efficient, sustainable, and conducive to employee well-being.

Traditional occupancy sensors provided some insights, but they were insufficient in understanding the nuances of workspace usage. InnerSpace recognizes the value of obtaining deeper insights beyond simple headcounts. By focusing on "which team, when, how often, and where" employees used the workspace, we help companies zero in on essential issues such as desk ratios, meeting room sizes, resource allocation, and more.

As the concept of the hybrid workplace gains traction, data-driven decisions have become a necessity for businesses seeking to optimize their office spaces successfully. InnerSpace's innovative approach in transforming workspace strategies has proven its worth, with businesses benefiting from sustainability, cost reduction, and improved employee experiences. By embracing data-driven decisions, companies can not only stay competitive but also create a workspace that meets the needs of their workforce and the demands of the future.

Learn more by watching the video below with a real-world success story of how InnerSpace data identified the right mix of space types to support their teams effectively. Leading to a remarkable 20% increase in productivity, leading to annual cost savings of $916,000.
