Our Favourite Workplace Productivity Tools of 2022

For the last couple of years, like many other teams, the team at InnerSpace has adapted to the reality of hybrid and remote teams, and like many others, this was an adjustment.

Luckily, we weren't alone in this transition, and many emerging tools have helped our team and other teams work remotely from a variety of different offices while staying connected. We mastered many communication tools, explored team building from a distance, had an endless amount of online meetings, and video calls, and found ways to improve our workplace experience even through unprecedented change in today's workplace.

Meet InnerSpace's top seven workplace tech tools

The best browser for productivity - Sidekick

It’s optimized, it’s productive, it’s the coolest browser around. The InnerSpace team loves Sidekick’s speed, tools, and privacy (it matters as much to them as it does to us!). Sidekick helps keep our team focused and keep track of their screen time. It also keeps all the apps we use close at hand. Its intuitive interface made it a great tool, and the search functionality helped us keep our other tools close at hand.

The smartest scheduling for teams - ReclaimAi

Reclaim works with our Google Calendars to help us block time and figure out where are priorities for the week are. As far as productivity tools go, it's at the top of the pack, and helps our team maximize time and plan their schedules in a realistic way. It also supports our team in creating smart scheduling habits that help us all get the most out of our work days. For a quickly growing team, it's a great way to schedule meetings.

Sameer, our VP of Operations loves ReclaimAi’s ability to sync multiple calendars and block time to complete tasks.

Did we mention it also works with Slack?

The best way to give feedback - Loom

Loom is a quick and easy way to record feedback and share complex ideas. It works on desktop, or with mobile apps and Google Chrome. It’s a great tool for helping with tech issues in real time and sharing asynchronous feedback.

Abigail, our designer at InnerSpace and a self-professed visual communicator, loves Loom because it allows her to share thoughts with colleagues that might seem too brief for an all out formal meeting, but are important to the tasks at hand and can be quickly resolved.

The new classic for internal communication - Slack

It's easy to use interface keeps our entire team connected, and it works with a whole bunch of other apps that we love. Slack is a key part of today's company culture and employee engagement. With new features all the time, we think Slack will be the gold standard in internal communication tools for years to come.

More than a workspace, or a doc, Teamspaces helps us work together, outside of silos and have all your projects close at hand. It's an impactful team collaboration software that has many features, including ways to create content, provide feedback, assign tasks, and share ideas. It's infinitely customizable, too, so it's what we need, every time.

The best collaboration tool - Miro

Miro is a visual platform that our developers love. It's got great brainstorming capabilities, and has over a hundred integrations with the tools they're already using, like Google Docs and Zoom. It's secure, can be scaled, and they love its ability to keep everything they need in one spot.

Matt, our co-founder and VP of Research and Development loves Miro for its simplicity, whiteboarding abilities, user following, and granular access control.
